Greycells

“Greycells” was originally set up as an informal gathering of quizzers in Kerala. The current avatar had its seed in the vibrant "Kerala Quizzers" community on Orkut. The community was initially a meeting point of quizzers who were once part of the Kerala quizzing scene, but are currently based outside the state due to their professional and academic commitments. Quite soon, it received a committed following from quizzers who are currently active in the state as well. Today it is a hotbed of activity where quiz announcements are made, questions are exchanged and fond memories are recollected. It also serves as a forum where good quizzes and quiz masters are applauded and poor organizing, questions etc are soundly thrashed. Even the small achievements of the state's upcoming quizzers are well appreciated by seniors spread all over the globe. As a link between several generations, the community is a wonderful example.

3. http://greycells-kerala.blogspot.com
The Greycells blog serves as a website for the community for announcements and quizzing news. It also features a "Quizzer Profiles" section which documents the personal and quizzing details of people who have had an impact on Kerala’s quizzing. No achievement/anecdote is considered too small to be listed here because very often it represents the fondest quizzing memories of the person profiled, as well as many of his/her contemporaries who were part of the incident!
For quizzers from the rest of the country, a more interesting feature of the blog may be the "Random Quizzes" section. It features biweekly quizzes of 10-20 questions. The objective has always been to showcase good quality questions that are workout able or interesting to know. So far, we have had around 27 quizzes in the section. Questions from many other quizzes in the state are also featured on the blog. Quizblogs.com recommends the Greycells site and invites all quizzers out there to join the fun, contribute, and enliven Greycells

Quando Omni Flunkus.... Google
(When everything else fails, Google) :-))
This creatively named blog with the cool quasi-Latin name was started by S Kartheegeyan who describes himself as a nice guy who wants to finish first. A management graduate and a self professed quizzer from school days, he is also a wannabe advertising guy who claims to have got wayled into the education industry. Currently with Educomp Solutions Ltd, he is interested in a lot of stuff such as movies, books ,music, advertising, management , education and screen writing . He says he strongly detests anything that deters the learning pursuit of the student community and that his blog is an attempt to keep abreast....seek, know and share...his passion from, to and by likeminded individuals.

The name is Q... GQ. Short for Gurgaon Quizzers. If you thought they were just another bunch of people who got together to start a quiz club....well, you are (almost )right. Right now, they are about 14-people strong and catch up online to ask questions and find answers. Each of them takes a turn to be the quiz master/ quiz hostess and posts a quiz of 10 questions online. The others are given a 72-hour timeframe within which they can take a shot at answering these questions. Every quiz has a winner (who they say wins fame and glory;-) , and of course is applauded for having the highest ‘GQ’ in the group). GQ also meets up in Gurgaon every Saturday (negotiable) havin regular quizzes or literature, current affairs, business, arts, history, or science. So in case you are quiz starved in Gurgaon, do get in touch with this bunch of quiz enthusiasts. For others, do check out their site and do take a shot at their questions

Biz Quizzard is a weekly current affairs Business quiz blog based on the the events of the week gone by. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride he says -as is the case with many of us quizzers;-) ! The quizzes at Biz Quizzard are cross-posted on Quinkie, the online Biz Quiz group started by Murali Duggineni as a platform for sharing knowledge. With the first edition posted in March 2004, Biz Quizzard has completed a triple century of quizzes without missing a single week!!!  InfiniteZounds is run by J. Ramanand, a quizzer from Pune, India. With excellent credentials - Ramanand, the youngest winner on Mastermind India in 2002, loves to set and talk about quizzes, and also co-runs the BCQC, Pune's quizzing
group. He began "Infinite Zounds" in 2010 as a quiz blog focused on current affairs, partly as a design project aiming to create an easy-to-use quiz blog. And that is the part I like best about this site, The answers to each question are right there, you just have to click on "Show Answer" to view the answer to each question, which in my opinion is the best way to interact with readers, also making it a great pre-quiz research kind of site. No waiting a week for answers, no "will-mail-you-answers-only-if-you-respond" kind of approach. The second great thing is that the questions are perfectly crafted, the right amount of work-out-able-ness which makes the questions so great. So go ahead and do check out this site if you dont already- Happy Infinite Zounding to all !
